Winter is here now.

Those beautiful seasonal changes make the whole world and everyday look different and attractive.

I am an Autumn lover but I am very favor of New York's Winter as well so I don't mind at all for living in colder weather.   I am also a strong person so I rarely get any sickness.

Nevertheless, I caught a cold :(

I don't even remember the last time I caught one so my body is so not used to getting sick.  So even this small sickness, I could feel really really really weak...

Anyways, I am now finally feeling so G O S H A F U L :)

Anyone gotten a flu shot?  I think I'm getting one soon...  

One musician I would like to introduce here:

Takehara Pistol (竹原ピストル)

Last weekend, I went to see this great singer's show at Pianos in LES, NYC. 

He was known as a member of his previous major band, YAKOZEN (野狐禅).  

Now Pistol plays as a solo singer with an acoustic guitar.

His style is so straightforward.  

Hi voice, words, guitar, and melody match so well and it turns out to be his life called Music.

He sings in Japanese but if your heart has ears and emotions, you should definitely feel him so straightly.

At the show, he reminded me of the first impulse of music that I got knocked down by.

It is always straight.  It is always kind.  And it is always true.

I remembered why I started singing.

Youth Of Today

Went to see one of the NYHC legends, Youth Of Today last Saturday at Santos Party House in NYC.

They were the Youth of that time and made that scene.

So now, maybe they are, as my buddy Jesse said, Youth Of Yesterday...

It's been a while since the time and nowadays, things are changed and new.

What's right and hot is not so now.  

We just need to know Youth changes.

But still, I did feel very fresh and right from their straightforward messages.

The lead singer Ray asked us during the set,

"Anyone has kids?"

"I have one now and he is my best friend."

Not by the blood but by the soul, Ray made a deep and true connection with his son I believe and I think that should be something that we all need to do among this Generation.

All the fans of Old Schoolers and New Schoolers were so united that night.

Let's keep the truth from those legends and we, a.k.a. Youth of Today, gotta do something for our Youth of Tomorrow.

Last Thursday, my crew and I did a TV show called "Stairway to the Dream TV" on LIVESTREAM.

Stairway to the Dream TV is a New Entertainment that broadcasts Live Music and introduces Various types of Dreamful Artists talking and playing their Dreams on USTREAM or LIVESTREAM. 

It was our 2nd broadcasting and had a lot of fun!

The Guest artist was a Japanese Crazy Punk band, GELATINE from New York City!

They brought such nice GELATINE goods to decorate our table!  Well, the rabbit is our mascot, PEACH!

Stairway to the Dream TV begins with out theme song, "Stairway to the Dream"!  This is a song of my band, Uzuhi!  We play this song with the guest to start off the TV! 

Talking and playing some games with the guest :) 

GELATINE played 2 songs during the show which totally ROCKED and RAPED lol!

They have been playing in NYC for 11 years and will have their 11th Anniversary show on Nov 11th 2011 (11/11/11) FRIDAY at Studio B.P.M. (237 Kent Ave., Brooklyn, NY)!

They are one of the NYC based local Japanese bands that have been supporting the scene.  Let's show them big Arigato and Respect by showing up and let's have fun together with everyone yo!

Stairway to the Dream TV vol.2 with GELATINE was finished really happily and successfully by the guest and all the Stairway to the Dream TV crews.  You guys are super Awesome!

moonrabbits, YUKI THE HARDEST DRUMMER

I like going out to any kinds of shows and I always try to go see my friends' bands shows to support as much as I can.  

This is how musicians, artists, dancers, or whoever chases Dreams in the underground are supposed to support each other and keep up the scene.

I went to see Moonrabbits (http://www.myspace.com/themoonrabbits) at Spike Hill in Brooklyn last Saturday!

The drummer of the band named Yuki is the super cool and one of the BESTEST and AWESOMEST Real Rock and Roll Drummers in this Generation.  

He is the support drummer of my band Uzuhi!

It was really nice seeing him from outside band.  I always know how hard he always beats but I could remake sure how hard it actually is...

Their sound is very catchy and melody is easy to listen but their lyrics are WAY TOO SEXY...

If you think you are too young to learn some SEXINESS, you may wanna stay away from them...lol

Anyways, Great job Yuki!!!
